Itinerary


Day 1: Athens (Arrival): -

  • Welcome to Greece! Arrive in Athens.
  • Your transfer will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the hotel.
  • Check in the hotel.
  • Rest of the day is at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Athens.
Day 2: Athens: -
  • After breakfast, get ready for Athens Half Day city tour.
  • This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city.
  • Visit the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).
  • On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens:
  • The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”,
  • the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon.
  • Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era:
  • The new Acropolis museum. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own, return back to hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Athens.
Day 3: Athens-Mykonos: -
  • After breakfast, this morning you will have an early transfer to the Athens port to embark on the high-speed ferry to Mykonos.
  • Upon arrival at Mykonos, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure.
  • Enjoy all Mykonos has to offer, from beautiful sandy beaches to archaeological wonders to extravagant nightlife! So kick back and relax by the beach, immerse yourself in the Island’s rich history or dance the night away; Mykonos has it all.
  • Overnight stay in Mykonos.
Day 4: Mykonos (City walk and Island Bus tour): -
  • After breakfast, begin the island trip by walking through small and narrow streets.
  • Your professional escort will provide you with important information as well as an orientation of the old ancient town.
  • See the well-known windmills and find Petros The Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos.
  • Continue exploring the island by luxury bus, visiting some of the most famous beaches and the inner landscape.
  • See local fishers with their wooden boats and small private chapels and houses built in typical Cycladic style.
  • Head on to the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera, an idyllic place 7km from the town.
  • If time permits stroll around the traditional square or a visit to the monk monastery Panagia Tourliani built in the 16th century.
  • Make a final stop at Kalafatis beach, where you can enjoy a coffee break or stroll around.
  • On the way back, stop at one of the most famous islands’ viewpoints and enjoy breathtaking views from all over the town and neighbouring islands.
  • The rest of the day is free for you to explore the island on your own.
  • Overnight stay in Mykonos.
Day 5: Mykonos-Santorini: -
  • After breakfast at the hotel, this morning you will be transferred to Mykonos port for a high-speed ferry to Santorini.
  • Many regard Santorini as the most spectacular Greek Island; Santorini boasts ancient rock formations, raw lava-layered cliffs, and beautiful black sand beaches.
  • Upon arrival at Santorini, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
  • The rest of the day is free.
  • Admire the town of Fira’s whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and open-air cafes cling to a cliff accessible by cable car or Donkey.
  • Overnight stay in Santorini.
Day 6: Santorini (Tour of Caldera): -
  • After breakfast, proceed for the Tour of Caldera:
  • Volcano, Hot Springs, Thirassia, Oia. Embark on the traditional boat for our visit to active craters of the volcano.
  • Climb up approx. 30 min. on the top of the island of Nea Kameni, in Greek, means “new burnt ” and explore dramatic rocky scenery (1.5h).
  • Then sail to Palea Kameni, “old burnt”, where thermal springs provide natural warm-water bathing.
  • Swim on the hot springs (30 min – the boat stops approx.. 70meters) from the hot springs area.
  • You need to be able to swim this distance and back.
  • Swimming is your responsibility.
  • Later visit Thirassia, a typical Cycladic village.
  • It is an ideal place to swim or discover the simple town of Manolios by donkey.
  • You have time off to taste some of the traditional food (at your own expense).
  • Your last destination is Oia; the village is approximately 150 meters above sea level.
  • Oia is one of the most photographed places in Greece; it has inspired many artists, poets and every visitor who visits Santorini.
  • You need to climb up 200 steps to reach the town’s top.
  • You have free time to enjoy the most beautiful sunset.
  • Return from Oia by bus after sunset.
  • Overnight stay in Santorini.
Day 7: Santorini-Heraklion (Crete): -
  • After breakfast, check out of the hotel and get transferred to the pier for your ferry to Heraklion, the capital of Crete and one of the Mediterranean region’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.
  • On your arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Heraklion (Crete).
Day 8: Crete (Leisure day): -
  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel.
  • The day is free for you to explore various optional island activities or explore the island independently.
  • Or you may choose to enjoy the various facilities offered by your hotel/resort.
  • Overnight stay in Heraklion (Crete).
Day 9: Crete (Departure): -
  • After breakfast, transfer to the Crete airport for your flight back home, having the best impression from your trip .
